Google is preparing to launch its another product-its TV now. As reported by New York Times GOOGLE,SONY,INTEL  geared up to work  on Google TV, which provide services like google search,You Tube,twitter and other cool web applications using set-top box which is based on google’s popular operating system -Android

Google is using Intel atom processors in set-top box while Sony is expected to add Google Tv functionality in its televisions.Sony still have Bravia line which is working on Amazon Video on Demand.Sony and Intel now a days, hiring programmers who have experience in writing softwares for android.

Logitech -favourite mouse & keyboard manufacturer for most of the people including me,will be using  remote controls , keyboards and audio video products based on Android.

More than 30,000 applications have been developed already in just a year almost. The platform includes video on demand,thinkfree office viewer software,a web browser,remote control/keyboard interface and 1080px video quality.

But this is not a big surpise to say. Software giant Microsoft have been trying also to use internet through users’ home entertainment systems for several years still not much successful yet.

Hope this time Google’s linux powered tv will bring some change .That sounds like Google is likely to combine its existing dekstop and mobile features to google tv
